J Nikolé is best known for her wide range of music selections and her ability to entice the crowd with her energetic demeanor. As a graduate from the Academy of DJs program, she has already taken the DJ scene by storm and dived in head first by landing her first music festival gig at Camp Flog Gnaw, opening for acts such as Murda Beatz, as well as other non-stop gigs across the Los Angeles and the OC areas, San Francisco, San Diego, Dallas, Seattle, and Tokyo, Japan. As of 2024, J Nikolé has tapped into the producer scene by releasing her first house track, “Main Character Energy”. With almost two years of non-stop practice, mentoring, & performing, J Nikolé is definitely turning heads with her impressive ability to not only market herself, but to leave a lasting impression on her crowd as well.

Back when I worked in corporate america, I became friends with my then coworker Loriluvsic (Season 11 Alumni). One night, I went to support her at a gig in downtown LA, I then met Seduza (Season 9 Alumni) and we clicked instantly. It was that night where I expressed my curiosity about DJing and she told me to just go for it and put myself on the waitlist, so I did just that. Once I got accepted into this beautiful community a couple of months later, I realized that DJing was the one that I've been missing in my life the entire time. I finally found my passion. During my season, I met some of my best friends that I couldn't imagine my life without. People that I have laughed & cried with. People that have really become my support system. I am forever grateful for my experience with Academy of DJs because without it, I would not be the woman I am today.
After graduating I wanted the opportunity to give back to my DJ community, so I joined staff as a social media coordinator for Season 13.
